Denova Sciences

Denova Sciences, proudly founded as an NTU Spin-off company registered in 2012, commenced operations in May 2014. We have since launched skin testing services using our proprietary in vitro skin technology developed in our laboratory based at NTU Innovation Centre. 

Over the years, we have continued to expand through research and development efforts with academic and industry partners to stay at the forefront of innovation and technology. We specialize in providing the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries a means to access the burgeoning Asian market through our unique one-stop solution and extensive network of partners spread throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Our expertise lies in our experience in 3D human organoid and permeation technology. Furthermore, we provide safety and efficacy evaluation to ensure product compliance to industry regulations. It is our utmost concern to safeguard consumer welfare and to maintain cruelty-free ethical testing.

We want to be the Go-To Asian organoid innovator and partner in the Greater Asian region while fostering the growth of the distinctive and fast expanding beauty and personal care industry.

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) is a public university located in Hung Hom, Hong Kong. The history of PolyU can be traced back to 1937, and it assumed full university status in 1994. It is one of the funded institutions of the territory's University Grants Committee (UGC).
